The Town of Stephenson now offers single stream (commingled) recycling for all Town of Stephenson property owners.

Brush is accepted from Town of Stephenson residents only.  Brush accepted at Twin Bridge on County X location only.

Please NOTE that we DO NOT Recycle:

  • Plastic Grocery Bags
  • Shredded Paper
  • Liquid Garbage/Food
  • Tanks/Compress Gas Cylinders
  • Clothing/Bedding
  • Needles/Lancets/Syringes  (visit dnr.wi.gov for more information)
    • we will accept needles if they are in a plastic laundry container with a cover on
  • Cord/Wires/Hoses
  • Porcelain such as sinks or toilets

The cost per trash bag:

$2.00 per bag for up to a 30 gallon bag

$3.00 per bag for 31 gallons or larger

Clear bags are requested

The Town of Stephenson sells clear bags for your convenience
